User Limitations
The Crystal Web Report Server is designed to support small,
departmental-level workgroups and is suitable for about 15 to 30 concurrent users,
depending on resources. Although additional users are not prevented from accessing
reports, users may notice very slow report loading and refreshing if this limit is
exceeded. Other factors impacting performance include: size of server RAM, report size,
database performance, and overall intranet traffic. Allowing the viewing of reports rather
then the process will provide much faster results for multiple users.
Additional scalability and scheduling functionality are available with Seagate Crystal Info, a multi-tiered application scalable to an enterprise level deployment. For more information refer to the Seagate Crystal Info Web page www.img.seagatesoftware.com/crystalinfo.
